Paul Dumouchel

Paul Dumouchel joined SWAP’s board in 2019 and currently serves as its treasurer. He brings over 20 years of experience in Property Management, Economic Development, and Community Development.
”I have witnessed the desperation of people every day and affordable housing has long been a passion of mine,” Dumouchel says. “SWAP has always done a great job developing additional affordable units throughout Rhode Island at a time when they were very much needed. When I was offered an opportunity to join the board, I jumped at the chance to offer my assistance.”
With the ongoing housing crisis, Dumouchel says he and SWAP are committed to exploring new innovative solutions and implementing them with a sense of purpose. It’s an approach that has become part of SWAP’s hallmark. “SWAP is the gold standard of affordable housing in the Capital City, Carla and her team are constantly seeking out new opportunities to either develop new housing or re-purpose existing buildings. RI is home to many under-utilized properties and there is no better time to be creative as well as aggressive with development ideas and initiatives. SWAP does this day in and day out and has instant respect throughout the nonprofit affordable housing community.”
